1) How long have you been on the WIT@UCSF Leadership Team?
About 2.5 years.
2) How did you get involved with WIT@UCSF and then the Leadership Team?
I attended the WIT@UCSF kickoff and was honored to join the Leadership Team shortly after.
3) What has been your favorite memory from leading this group?
My favorite memory is our WIT video celebrating our 2nd birthday! It was fun conceptualizing the idea with Stephanie Yee and then seeing the end product. It was beautifully made and we couldn’t have done it without our WIT members!
4) What are you most proud of during your time on this team?
Securing funding from Registered Campus Organizations to support our programming and swag for our WIT members!
5) What are your hopes and wishes for WIT@UCSF?
I hope that WIT continues to foster this community with knowledge and be supportive to empower people to reach their potential/goals.
6) What would your leadership teammates say your superpower is?
I think they would say that I am easy going, approachable, and a team player.
7) What is something not many people know about you?
I think most people know I like to bake but my latest obsession is making treats with hojicha, which is a roasted green tea. I’ve experimented with hojicha flavored mochi muffins, financiers, tres leches, chocolate chip, and snickerdoodles. It’s so good and worth the splurge!
