Although I am not in an explicitly “tech-centric” role, technology impacts us all. WIT provides an opportunity to learn about innovative technology options and resources available at UCSF along with the opportunity to learn new things outside of the scope of my specific role. I love being a member of WIT because every event is welcoming, inspiring and always sparks creativity and imagination for what’s possible! I encourage anyone who is interested to join-in and attend an event.
The Health Care Facilitator Program has recently launched a new website to help increase awareness of our program and the available resources to employees and retirees: https://healthcarefacilitators.ucsf.edu/.
There are so many opportunities for development here at UCSF. Whatever your interest is, there is a way to learn more about it. The more I ask questions and reach out to others, the more I am amazed by the strong and supportive community here.
I love board games. I’m just getting into collaborative board games and currently learning Pandemic—haven’t beat it yet! It’s addictive.
Right now, mostly homework since I’m also a part-time graduate student. I’m in the second year of pursuing my MPH degree. But when I’m not studying, I like to take day trips to the Russian River and have picnics in Golden Gate Park.
A new language—fluently! At the top of my list: Hindi and Mandarin.
