E-Drive: Empowering patients and setting them up for success after leaving the ER. Engage Rx: Identifying, treating, and reducing disparities in hypertension treatment in African-American men. WYZ: Technology designed to connect youth living with HIV We Are Family: Technology to help marginalized communities put HIV prevention center stage.

How has technology helped you achieve a goal within your role or department?: 

My department's mission strongly resonates with my personal values and dedication to preventing harm. At SOM Tech, we advocate for technology while prioritizing people and collaboration. We work to ensure that our programs and digital products are accessible, equitable, and inclusive of all identities and lived experiences.

What’s your favorite aspect of your role at UCSF and why?: 

I enjoy working with communities to design technology that meets their unique needs.

What’s one ‘fun fact’ about you that not many people know?: 

I create works on paper through printmaking and collage.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?: 

Glue the perfect paper scrap or enjoy time in the park.

If you could learn anything, what would that be?: 

Watercolors. Patience. Improving communication and collaboration.
