What technology project(s) have you worked on that you are most proud of?: 

UCSF tech success in SoD’s Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) allowed me to create websites, a Facebook presence, and a newsletter (Smile Digest). It was SO FUN! I took that to my next spot in Neurology as well. Currently, I am formulating a Communications Plan and technology will be a big part of that.


How has technology helped you achieve a goal within your role or department?: 

Early success helped me standout as a candidate in subsequent UCSF career changes. Currently, when technology is introduced to our department I can sometimes test new applications.


What’s your favorite aspect of your role at UCSF and why?: 

Seeing how technology is responding to healthcare. All medical centers are beginning to see how Electronic Health Records can inform the precision care of tomorrow.


What’s one ‘fun fact’ about you that not many people know?: 

I was 43 years old when I had my son. Contact me if you are facing the infertility blues.


What do you like to do when you’re not at work?: 

Play, volunteer, eat and pray. I definitely seek balance and peace.

The current version of Drupal! LOL
