Claudia Bedolla
What technology project(s) have you worked on that you are most proud of?:

Saving 6,000+ sheets of paper by providing digital copies of documents to accreditors that visited our campus this spring, that’s almost a whole tree! According to the Sierra Club, you can get 10,000 to 20,000 sheets, depending on the size of a tree, of paper from 1 tree. Not everything needs to be printed, and I’m glad that I could help my team save resources.

How has technology helped you achieve a goal within your role or department?:

It has helped me stay organized, create graphics, distribute information, and learn new

things.

What’s your favorite aspect of your role at UCSF and why?:

I like solving problems. There are projects that require a bit of creativity to complete, so I appreciate when I can use the random skills I have acquired over the years.

What’s one ‘fun fact’ about you that not many people know?:

I considered pursuing a career in space commerce some years ago.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?:

Read, watch tv, walk, take pictures, learn new things

If you could learn anything, what would that be?:

How to build a telescope.
