What technology project(s) have you worked on that you are most proud of?

In response to the demand for online learning during the pandemic, I designed and developed the new Best Practices in Zoom and Online Learning webinar and Training Portal which provides structure, tools, and consultation to help support facilitators, presenters, subject matter experts (SME's) and their producers create more interactive and engaging classes, meetings, and online events.

How has technology helped you achieve a goal within your role or department?

I designed and developed the new system-wide L&OD Mentoring Program which introduces a structured process and online resources to help support employee engagement and our opportunity to learn and grow at UCSF.

I worked in partnership with our UCSF Excellence through Community Engagement & Learning (EXCEL) program administrator to develop the online pilot of the UCSF Career Development Series for Non-Clinical Staff to help support our EXCEL Alumni as part of UCSF’s Workforce Development and DEI efforts.

What’s your favorite aspect of your role at UCSF and why?

I love helping people learn how to utilize technology to help them be more efficient and engaging in their work and presentations.

What’s one ‘fun fact’ about you that not many people know?

My cats’ names are Mary, Rhoda, Phyllis, and Brenda! wink emoji

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I love exploring the vastness of Golden Gate Park and showing friends and visitors my favorite places.

If you could learn anything what would that be?

Neuroscience and artificial intelligence.
